DEEP ARCH

An early exploration of neural network style transfer, featured on ArchDaily.

This project from January 2016 was an early exploration of neural style transfer, using DeepArt: a web tool created by academic researchers. This experiment was created the moment the service was made available as fully public tool. First, I applied Lebbeus Woods’ model-making style to his own portrait. Later, I experimented with other art/portrait combinations.

The project was later featured by the architectural publication ArchDaily, which showcased the creative potential of this new technology to a wider design audience.
